MK-X Molecular Assembly System

THE GENESIS PROTOCOL

Parallel MEMS Assembly
SPECULATIVE RESEARCH — NOT CURRENT PRODUCT OR CAPABILITY

Moving from macro-assembly to molecular assembly requires massive parallelism. The print head concept is a MEMS array — thousands of independently addressable micro-extrusion nozzles (target: 10 μm orifice diameter, 50 μm pitch) depositing an entire patty layer simultaneously. No such array has been fabricated at this density for food-grade materials; current MEMS inkjet arrays operate at 20–50 μm resolution for polymer and ceramic inks but have not been adapted for protein or lipid deposition.

Active Thermal Printing

Zone A (Patty) superheats protein ink to 170°F. Zone B (Veggies) chill-flashes cellulose to 34°F. Between them, the machine prints a microscopic Aerogel Starch Layer for temperature separation.

Molecular Encapsulation

Millions of nano-liposomes filled with liquid smoke and pre-caramelised sugars burst only under jaw pressure, flooding the palate with the taste of a charcoal grill.

The 30-Second Gourmet Configuration

In 30 seconds you actually caramelise sugar and render fat. Chamber A (Hot Zone): Gyroid lattice bun pressed against 400°F ceramic for real toasting. Wagyu patty woven with exact melting-point tallow. Plasma torch chars the surface. Chamber B (Cold Zone): Cellulose cells filled with chilled water at high pressure. Dijon printed as honeycomb lattice.

Fat-to-lean ratio: 80:20 wagyu grade, precise to ±0.5%. Sauce distribution: 0.3 ml/cm², uniform across the bun surface.
